Marty Eliopulos joined Higgs Fletcher & Mack in 1990 and was admitted to practice law in all Courts for the State of California that same year. He is also admitted to practice law in all four Federal Judicial Districts within the State of California. Mr. Eliopulos became a partner of the Firm in 1996 and is the
department head of the Firm's bankruptcy practice group. He is also a board member of the
San Diego Bankruptcy Forum, is a member of the Bankruptcy Law Section and is a member and former chair of the Commercial Law Section for the
San Diego County Bar Association.
Mr. Eliopulos'
practice is primarily focused in the areas of bankruptcy, with special emphasis on
complex business reorganization, liquidation and
creditors' remedies. In addition to representing numerous individuals and business entities both as debtors and creditors, he has also successfully represented financial institutions, receivers, Bankruptcy Trustees, Creditor's Committees, and Examiners under Chapters 7, 11, and 13. Finally, Mr. Eliopulos' practice also emphasizes the
enforcement of judgments and debts and commercial litigation.
