R. Michael Jones

Mike Jones joined Higgs Fletcher & Mack in 1998. Before joining the Firm, Mr. Jones was a securities examiner and financial analyst. He was also the founder, President, and CEO of an apparel manufacturing and marketing company, which he sold in a leveraged buy-out. He also had a management consulting business and published a monthly newsletter entitled "Merger & Acquisition Network."

Mr. Jones received his Juris Doctor magna cum laude from the California Western School of Law where he was on the Dean's List and a Law Review Staff Editor. He is the recipient of eight Am Jur, Academic Achievement, and Corpus Juris Secondum awards in areas including Corporate Taxation, Bankruptcy, Civil Procedure, Torts, and Legal Writing. Mr. Jones was also the recipient of the Wall Street Journal award for excellence in commerce and business courses.

Mr. Jones' practice is concentrated in the areas of venture development and finance, corporate, and securities law. He is admitted to practice before the United States District Court, Southern District of California.
