Catherine Morrison

Catherine Morrison joined Higgs Fletcher & Mack in 1999, having previously been with the law firm of McInnis, Fitzgerald, Rees & Sharkey. Ms. Morrison serves as a civil litigator for the Firm.

Ms. Morrison’s legal career has been exclusively in private practice handling all aspects of civil litigation in both State and Federal court. Ms. Morrison has served as a trial lawyer for the San Diego Unified School District, litigating cases involving general liability matters and has provided pre-litigation consultation to the San Diego Unified School District’s construction program, Proposition MM. In 2005, Ms. Morrison was asked to join the Board of Directors of the San Diego Chapter of Construction Management Association of America, where she currently serves as the government affairs committee chairperson. Although Ms. Morrison has concentrated her practice in the areas of municipal liability and construction, she also has experience defending employers and businesses in employment and disability-related matters.
