Craig Higgs
Craig Higgs has more than 32 years of experience in civil litigation, with more than 50 jury trials. He has 20 years of experience in alternative dispute resolution. Mr. Higgs has extensive mediation training from the Advanced Mediation Workshop at Harvard Law School, the San Diego Mediation Center and the American Arbitration Association. He joined Higgs Fletcher & Mack in 1972 after serving as a prosecutor for the San Diego City Attorney’s Office.
Mr. Higgs has served on a variety of law related boards and committees including the California State Bar Commission on Judicial Nominees Evaluation and the University of San Diego School of Law Board of Visitors. He is a past president of both the San Diego County Bar Association and the San Diego Chapter of the American Board of Trial Advocates. In 1989, he was named the San Diego County Bar Association’s Legal Professional of the Year. Mr. Higgs has authored numerous articles on mediation, some of which have appeared in publications including the
Los Angeles Daily Journal and
San Diego Lawyer.
Mr. Higgs is a Fellow of the International Academy of Mediators.
