Kristopher S. Young
Mr. Young is a trial attorney who joined Higgs Fletcher, & Mack after serving five years as a Judge Advocate in the United States Marine Corps. During his time in the Marine Corps, Mr. Young served as an ethics advisor, family law attorney and a prosecutor. As a prosecutor Mr. Young tried numerous cases to verdict at courts-martial. From February 2006 to September 2006, Mr. Young deployed with the 1st Marine Logistics Group in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom. While in Iraq Mr. Young was the lead prosecutor for all Marine Corps Units deployed to Iraq.
Mr. Young attended California State University, Chico, where he obtained a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and a minor in Spanish. In 2001 Mr. Young received his law degree from the University of the Pacific, McGeorge School of Law.
Mr. Young’s practice is focused on the representation of clients in bankruptcy, including debtors, creditors and trustees. He also practices in general business and criminal litigation.
