Lee Burdick specializes in working with clients in highly regulated industries, such as “Green” and “Clean” technologies, telecommunications, utilities, aviation and the wine industry.  Lee has developed a special expertise in land use and environmental matters.  She was recently appointed as a Commissioner to the San Diego Unified Port District, where she works with hundreds of Port tenants on leasing, land use and environmental issues.  She has assisted many clients in successfully navigating through a variety of federal, state and local government agencies and regulations.  Recently, she helped a local winery overcome Riverside County land use regulations to establish an approved vineyard plot and planting plan.  She is currently working on the San Diego County Environmental Impact Report (“EIR”) establishing a four-tiered system for approving winery tasting rooms.

Lee joined the firm after serving as General Counsel for Jimsair Aviation Services, Inc. at San Diego International Airport.  Prior to that, Lee was a partner in the San Diego law firm of Ferris & Britton, P.C.  Lee’s clients have included Cox Communications, Los Angeles Cellular Telephone Company (now AT&T Wireless), and the California Cable Television Association.
