Terrell (“Teri”) Quealy joined Higgs, Fletcher & Mack in 1984 after four years in the Navy Judge Advocate General Corps. During her four years in the Navy, Ms. Quealy acted as defense counsel for clients facing Courts Martial and/or Non-Judicial Punishment, as well as serving as Trial Counsel in many trials on behalf of the Navy. After leaving the Navy, Ms. Quealy came to Higgs, Fletcher & Mack where she specialized in Construction Defect litigation. In 1991 Ms. Quealy joined a small firm of attorneys who specialized in insurance coverage, representing clients such as First State Insurance Company and other companies.
Since 1993 Ms. Quealy has continued her insurance coverage practice representing The Ohio Casualty Insurance Company, West American Insurance Company and American Fire & Casualty Company as their National Supervising Coverage Counsel. Ms. Quealy has returned to Higgs, Fletcher & Mack as partner, where she currently represents the member companies of the Liberty Mutual Group. Her practice consists of oversight of intellectual property lawsuits and claims, and she oversees a large contingent of coverage counsel throughout the United States. Her practice includes drafting coverage opinions, letters to insureds, as well as oversight of declaratory relief actions.
