Kelly Rae Waggonner joined Higgs Fletcher & Mack in 2009 after maintaining a private practice for six years focused on family law mediation services and family law matters. Previously, she was an attorney with Seltzer Caplan McMahon Vitek for over nine years in the litigation and family law departments. Ms. Waggonner’s practice is devoted exclusively to family law, with an emphasis on high-asset marital dissolutions, spousal support and child support modifications, and prenuptial agreements. Ms. Waggonner is also skilled in family law mediations, where she acts as the neutral mediator to both parties to a matter, assisting them in reaching efficient, mutually agreeable negotiated resolutions to their cases.
Ms. Waggonner received her undergraduate degree at The University of Texas at Austin in 1988 with a double major in Government and Sociology. She earned her law degree from George Washington University’s National Law Center in Washington, D.C. in 1991. Ms. Waggonner is currently licensed to practice law in both California and Texas.
Ms. Waggonner has completed both the Beginner and Intermediate mediation training from San Diego Mediation Center and has over 50 hours of Continued Legal Education in mediation and alternate dispute resolution training.
