Mary Robberson is a partner with Higgs Fletcher & Mack and joined the firm in 1997. She practices in the area of business litigation, with a focus on cross-border litigation involving Spanish speaking countries.
The international aspect of Ms. Robberson’s practice includes representing both U.S. and foreign entities and individuals in complex business lawsuits which often include simultaneous litigation in foreign jurisdictions.
The gamut of Ms. Robberson’s experience includes successfully litigating disputes for her clients beginning with jurisdictional and forum related-issues, enforcing the resulting judgments against multiple domestic and foreign defendants, as well as substantial experience in the areas of alter ego and successor liability as they relate to judgment enforcement. Her international experience also encompasses global lawsuit settlements including the jurisdictions of Mexico, Liberia, Grand Cayman and Bahamas.
Ms. Robberson’s diverse practice has included a published opinion before the California Court of Appeal and expert witness testimony before the Beit Din, which is the West Coast Rabbinical Court, on the issue of business practices related to the construction industry.
Ms. Robberson presents at various informational seminars to assist the Latin community, including, in the past, co-hosting a radio show on the Univision radio station, Recuerdo on 102.9 FM.
Ms. Robberson is admitted to practice law in the United States Southern, Northern, Eastern and Central District Courts of California.
