SAN DIEGO (April 14, 2026): Higgs Fletcher & Mack (HFM) is proud to welcome attorneys Aurora Gallardo and Jordan Steele to the firm’s Business Litigation Practice.

Gallardo has managed a broad range of bankruptcy, real estate, and business litigation matters from initial filing through trial preparation. She has drafted demand letters, briefs, motions, and discovery materials in both state and federal courts, and has argued key motions in bankruptcy proceedings on behalf of debtors and creditors. Gallardo also has extensive experience handling complex real estate disputes, multi-party mediations, and business dissolutions. She earned her law degree from California Western School of Law and previously earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science from California Polytechnic State University, San Luis Obispo. Gallardo is an active member of The Louis M. Welsh Inn of Court and Lawyers Club of San Diego.

Steele has represented consumers, institutions, and shareholders in complex, high-stakes litigation across federal and state courts. His practice focuses on multi-state class actions involving breach of contract, consumer fraud, data privacy, securities, and antitrust matters. He has managed all phases of litigation, including case investigation, drafting pleadings and motions, discovery, and mediation. He has argued motions, negotiated discovery disputes, and worked closely with experts and clients to develop case strategy. He earned his law degree from Brooklyn Law School and previously earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration from Suffolk University.
