Diversity
EDITABLE AREAS - FirmDiversity
Higgs Fletcher & Mack is strongly committed to diversity both within the firm and within the greater San Diego community. As one of the oldest law firms in San Diego, Higgs Fletcher & Mack has been a pioneer in diversity efforts in the area. Higgs Fletcher & Mack was one of the first law firms in San Diego to sign the
San Diego County Bar Association Diversity Pledge. As part of that commitment, Higgs Fletcher & Mack has established a Diversity Committee to promote diversity within the firm and elsewhere.
Senior partner Craig Higgs, former president of San Diego County Bar Association, chairs the committee. We are proud of the firm's continued commitment to diversity and look forward to an ever more diverse legal community in San Diego.
Lawyers Club Comes to HF&MHiggs Fletcher & Mack was pleased to host a Lawyer's Club Membership Development Committee luncheon at the firm on October 15, 2008. Lawyer's Club Committee Chairs Wendy Behan and Lana Sheshina, along with Executive Director Joan Friedenberg and student volunteer Neetu Deol put on a persuasive presentation to an enthusiastic group of HF&M attorneys about the benefits of Lawyer's Club membership. Special guest at the event was the Hon. Katherine Bacal, who is a Past President of Lawyer's Club. Lawyer's Club of San Diego has been "advancing the status of women in the law and society since 1972." The event was a great success: several attorneys became new members of the organization, joining the firm's veteran Lawyer's Club members. HF&M Lawyers Club members include: Craig Higgs, Susan Hack, Will Miller, Mary Robberson, Lee Burdick, Michelle Grant, Margaret Mangin, Victoria Fuller, Loren Freestone and Rahil Khosroabadi.
